Do you take fridges or freezers? We often get asked if we can dispose of fridges/freezers and the answer is yes! However, fridges and freezers cannot be scrapped at scrap yards due to the gasses, expanded foam insulation and plastics that are inside them. Usually the cost of disposing of any fridge or freezer exceeds that of their scrap metal value.
-
Do you take rusted metal? We pay you by weight and metal with severe rust damage will weigh less. Any product that's accepted for metal recycling must have a high metal content. So if your product is half-metal and half-plastic and the metal corrodes away, it likely won't be accepted as scrap metal.
-
Are pots and pans worth scrapping? You may find your local curb side programme doesn't collect unusual materials like pots and pans, but don't fret. Most scrap yards that accept metal will be happy to take your old non-stick pans, which they will recycle along with other scrap metal.
-
Do you take caravans?Yes we do.
